We believe helmets are art, an expression of your riding style and should be on display in your lounge, on your work desk, in your garage or entrance hall. Our vision was to create an aesthetically pleasing ornament that looks great when your lid is not resting on it! To achieve this we used the raw materials of wood seamlessly integrated with steel, to embody the rustic industrial aesthetic of Bronco Iron Company. A mild steel bracket is meticulously designed and laser cut as the center stage support for the assembled multi layered wooden skull. This layered sculpture is then wood stained to further enhance its effect and atmosphere. Read how it was made here https://bronco-iron.com/2022/03/20/bronco-helmet-stand/

The crash bar will protect the front section of the bike (within reason) should it fall over. A lot of R&D has gone into the exact placement and length of the bar to ensure enough lean angle as to not impede any high speed cornering and still provide the right amount of protection. The bar also offers as a forward foot rest alternative for those long journeys. Flame pattern laser cut side plates and pointed machined end caps provide an aesthetically pleasing integration to your sportster. Dress your steed for the slide with this robust attachment!
Originally referred to as the sister bar, the sissy bar was born in early 1960’s USA when some states brought in laws mandating the use of a bar on the back of a street motorcycle when lifting a passenger for safety reasons. As was to be expected at the time, bikers were not a group that really concerned themselves with safety. Bikers started referring to the bars as “sissy” bars because they were not happy about having to comply with the new law, and obviously those that did, were sissy’s.
But, the sissy bar managed to stick around, and naturally the term stuck too and remains the common term used today. In chopper culture groups, the sissy bar has earned a few more colorful monikers such as the bitch bar, or the bitch stick. Ironically, the modern sissy bar allows little room on the back for a sissy, more commonly equipped today for aesthetic or luggage carrying purposes.
